Increased weight requirements for (electric) wheelchairs and wheelchair users have created the need for a new wheelchair restraint system for heavier loads. AMF-Bruns developed the new Protektor PlatinumSeries after intensive sled tests indicated the need for more durable retractors. This exceptionally stable 4-point safety system has a robust design. The retractors are attached to the vehicle floor with a Smart Fitting or L-Track Fitting. With carabiner, J-hook or loop the retractor can easily be attached to the wheelchair. The PlatinumSeries is compatible with a variety of wheelchairs and vehicles. This Protektor series meets applicable requirements of ISO 10542, SAEJ2249, FMVSS209 / 302 / 210 / 222, CMVSS 209, CSA Z605, AS2596, ADA and RESNA WC18.
